From 1 September 2021 all sponsors will receive access to our new online portal where they can keep up to date more closely with their sponsor resident. Upon sponsoring, sponsors will be emailed a login where they can view all the latest photos and updates from their sponsor resident(s). They’ll still receive their fantastic gift pack in the post but all other updates will be online, via the portal. This is exciting as we’ll be able to share even more photos and news!

Why Sponsor?
By sponsoring a horse, pony or donkey you’re helping us continue to provide the love and care to all 140 of our remarkable residents. This includes those who have publicly served our country as well as those who have been neglected, abused or abandoned. It costs us an average of £7,000 a year to look after just one our four-legged friends and we are reliant entirely on the generosity of our wonderful supporters like you.
You can sponsor a resident for yourself or choose to share the joy by giving the gift of sponsorship to a loved one – whichever you choose our horse heroes will be forever grateful.
We also offer a Special Sponsorship (Platinum) – these are designed for individuals or groups of family and friends who want to make a lasting tribute in memory of a loved one and organisations with a commitment to supporting the inspirational work of The Horse Trust. We ask that you please understand it’s not always possible to meet your sponsor resident when you visit The Horse Trust. We always have a great number of our residents available to meet you but the health of all our horses, ponies and donkeys must always come first and we therefore cannot guarantee a particular resident will be available on any given day.
Sponsorships last for 12 months and can either be paid for monthly or as a one-off payment.
