El-Alamein retires from Defence Animal Training Regiment

This stunning boy is a Dutch Warmblood who has been a star of the Defence Animal Training Regiment for many years.

His main role was to help train military riding instructors and to pick up some rosettes along the way representing the DATR in military competitions. It’s thanks to horses like El-Alamein that military instructors can get soldiers and horses all fully trained and up to scratch to represent the country so beautifully on State occasions!
