Clinical Animal Behaviour Webinar
Route to CAB webinar
Are you working towards becoming an ABTC registered equine Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB)? Would you like to learn more about how to become a CAB through the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC)? If the answer is yes, then join us on Wednesday 9th November for a FREE webinar with the APBC’s, Jane Williams!
Jane is the APBC’s Applications and Assessments Officer, and she will be discussing the route to becoming a CAB through the APBC. Passing the APBC CAB assessment entitles the individual to go on the ABTC register.
Jane will provide an overview of the knowledge and understanding requirements for the CAB role, and explain how you can evidence that you have achieved these by undertaking a recognised course or by completing the ABTC Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) process. She will also provide an overview of the performance requirements, and explain how you can evidence that you have met them through the APBC assessment route. Jane will finish by discussing what support is available for applicants through the APBC, and giving some practical tips to help people decide on their assessment readiness.
At the end of the webinar, Jane will also provide a short overview of the ABTC’s Animal Behaviour Technician (ABT) role and how to achieve it through the APBC.
Date: Wednesday 9th November
Time: 7.30pm to 9.00pm including Q&A
Cost: FREE
If you can’t attend live, the webinar will be recorded and delegates will have 3 months to watch the recording.
