Domino Flies The Nest
We have some very exciting news! This month our lovely chap Domino flies the nest onto a new loan home. This was quite an emotional day for us as Domino has become such a big part of The Horse Trust family. Domino was resscued from a field in Hertfordshire in 2012. He arrived with Jenga who has now also been successfully re-homed.
Rescue horse
His condition was truly appalling; he was emaciated, full of worms and suffering from a severe bacterial infection. He was sent immediately to the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) for emergency treatment, and round-the-clock care. Domino was so weak he had to be lifted to his feet daily. Isn’t it hard to believe that this is now the same pony?! We are very proud of him and cannot wait to see him flourish in his new home with his loan mummy Rebecca! Domino has gone to live with Rebecca to be a companion for her horse. As you can see (last picture) they hit it off immediately and are already great pals! We will be sure to keep you updated on Domino’s new journey!
