Welcome back to Hay There, our monthly spotlight where we celebrate the amazing team and…
Thank You BDSC
We would like to extend a big thank you to the British Dressage Supporters Club (BDSC) for their incredibly kind donation of £3,000 to our work here at The Horse Trust. The Horse Trust receives no public funding and we are therefore 100% reliant on the generosity of our supporters, including the BDSC.
The BDSC was founded in 1983 to promote, support and help improve British Dressage. We were deeply saddened to hear that after so many great years, the club is sadly closing. In closing down, they have chosen to kindly donate some of their remaining funds to various horse charities, including The Horse Trust.
Over the years the BDSC has made significant contributions to the sport; raising money for the Paras, Judges, Sheepgate and certificates for riders who represented GB and British Dressage. Along with the BDSC, we are incredibly sad to hear of their closure.
The BDSC supported our teams with so much passion at both European and World Championships, at Hickstead and the Nationals, amongst many other great occasions, including of course throughout the incredible success of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Once again, it is with sadness that we hear of their closure but we are incredibly grateful to the generosity and support from the Club over the years and for their kind donation to our charity.
