REG

Reg is an 18hh Sports Horse who served for 5 years with the Cleveland Mounted Police. Reg arrived at The Horse Trust in January 2014 following the closure of the Cleveland Police Mounted Section.

During his career, Reg policed many football matches. He also went to the London Olympic Games in 2012 and was based at the Olympic Park. During the games, Reg became famous at the Mounted Section for his giant cat leap, something his rider will never forget!

Reg became slightly anxious and was deemed no longer suitable for police work. He arrived with us alongside his friends Roman, Alf and Joey.
