PIGLET

Piglet was found abandoned, neglected and frightened on a busy roadside in Buckinghamshire.

When Piglet arrived with us, he needed urgent treatment and surgery for a number of veterinary problems including an infected eye, severe malnutrition, high worm burden and overgrown feet. Unfortunately, the infection in his eye was so severe that Piglet sadly lost his eye.

Piglet has now recovered from his ordeal and enjoys a wonderful friendship with fellow rescued Shetland pony, Rosie. These two ponies have become inseparable and it is a joy to see them together.
