GUSTAVUS

Gustavus served for 12 years with the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment in the Blues & Royals Squadron.

He took part in many State and Ceremonial occasions, such as the Queen’s Birthday Parade. He was also used regularly for Queen’s Life Guard and been part of the world famous Musical Ride.

He retired due to a heart condition called atrial fibrillation which meant he was no longer suitable for ridden work.
