Meet our drove of delightful donkeys

After weeks of snow in January our drove of donkeys were so delighted by the first signs of sunshine they put on what can only be described as a donkey ballet!

The Prima Ballerina was thirty-four year old Troy who showed her younger companions Gladys, Nora, Lola and Briar that there is life in the old donkey yet. Wearing her best ‘Super-Donkey’ rug Troy charged around the field, stopping occasionaly to say hello to her grooms.

We were all a little worried last year when Troy lost her best friend and companion Henry, so it is wonderful to see Troy looking so happy.
