Donkey Care Induction Days at The Horse Trust

Are you interested in learning about caring for donkeys?

Don’t miss the Donkey Care Induction Day, on Wednesday 22 August and Wednesday 29 August 2012 from 10:00am – 4:00pm at The Horse Trust.

The Donkey Sanctuary offers a wide range of courses aimed ‘to facilitate learning and educational opportunities by promoting the value and intelligence of the donkey’. All courses include theory and practical sessions with a certificate of competence being given on completion of the day.

The Donkey Sanctuary will be running two of these courses at The Horse Trust. The courses will be held on the 22nd and 29th of August and both will be stage one courses. The courses are aimed at new donkey owners and cover a variety of topics including:

• Theory and practical sessions on field management.
• Theory and practical sessions on stable management.

There is no charge for these courses however anyone attending will need to bring a packed lunch.
