Thank You Hartpury
In March 2016, a selection of students from Hartpury College organised a charity demo with Badminton winner and Rio 2016 shortlist rider Paul Tapner in aid of The Horse Trust and Cancer Research UK.
Hartpury Equine is one of the largest equestrian centres in the world, providing top class education alongside elite equestrian training. With a reputation for producing top riders, the facilities and opportunities available to students provide the ideal setting for achievement in a competitive environment. Alongside the equestrian elements, Hartpury Equine provides a range of educational courses from diploma to degree and postgraduate and short courses.
We welcomed Sophie Gregory to the Horse Trust when she kindly visited to hand over the cheque to Fundraising and Communications Executive Emily Bradford. Tom, former Royal Mews horse was also very grateful and posed beautifully for the picture!
The student organisers attracted a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable crowd after promoting the event through social media. More than £1000 raised was equally split between The Horse Trust and Cancer Research UK.
Thanks again to all the team at Hartpury Equine; we really appreciate all the support as we rely entirely on donations from the general public to support our work.
