Welfare Assistants deliver presentation Naphill Riding Club
On the evening of the 6th of November the Horse Trust attended the Naphill Riding Club annual general meeting to deliver a presentation on the rehabilitation and training of the ponies rescued from Spindles Farm, Amersham.
Sian Ellis and Charlotte Launder, who are both members of the Welfare team at the Horse Trust, discussed with the members the ponies progress from their rescue from Spindles Farm to where they are now. This included the condition of the ponies when they arrived at The Horse Trust, the stages of their rehabilitation and the training process to prepare them for the next chapter of their lives as ridden ponies.
This evening presentation was a great success and as The Horse Trust has recently become a member of Naphill Riding Club (in order to take the young horses to events and expand their experience), it was lovely to meet some of the members and put faces to names. We look forward to seeing these members at future events with our young rescue ponies.
