Welcome back to Hay There, our monthly spotlight where we celebrate The Horse Trust team.…
Supporters are our life blood
We are hugely grateful to our many dedicated supporters for all they do; our work is completely voluntary funded and would not be able to carry out our life changing work without you.
Many of our achievements and successes over the years have been made possible by people who have had the foresight and generosity to leave a gift to The Horse Trust in their will.
We would like to honour and thank two of our most recent legacy pledgers: the late Miss Ivy Gladys Lyle, who dedicated her life to the care of those people and animals around her, who’s extremely generous legacy will go so far towards the horses in our care. We would also like to thank her niece, Anastasia Daniells, who has worked so closely with The Trust in carrying out her late aunt’s wishes.
To Mrs Pat Brooks, a great friend to the Trust for many years, who sadly passed away last year bequeathing local grazing land to us. We are also extremely grateful to Mr Ed Brooks, Pat’s husband, for his continued generosity.
We would also like to convey our sincere appreciation to Mr John Haward for his numerous donations of many tonnes of hay, sent all the way from the South West of England. Thanks to Mr Haward our horses were eating fresh, first cut Devon hay during this summer’s unbearable heatwave.
Should you require any further information about legacies or wish to pledge a gift in your Will please contact The Horse Trust on 01494 488464 or email Alice, our Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager.
