STARLING

Starling arrived at The Horse Trust in May 2017 with fellow therapy pony Fred.

These 2 delightful ponies were kept at a care home who catered for people with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. They were used to teach the residents about animal husbandry and grooming. Both have a gentle nature and were ideal for the residents to learn with. They loved being fussed and gave hours of pleasure to many. Unfortunately the care home had to close due to lack of funding.
