Marsa Working
Marsa Retired
Marsa worked as a carriage horse for the Royal Mews for many years, retiring early due to suffering from navicular disease.
He has pulled Queen Elizabeth II’s coaches on many special occasions including State Visits, State Opening of Parliament, Trooping the Colour, Garter Service and at Royal Ascot week.
He is a very good-looking horse, flea bitten grey and with the air of a creature who knows he’s a royal!
Marsa is a stalwart member of our herd, overseeing the younger horses and keeping a watchful eye. He is loved by many, and we are happy he could join us at our Home of Rest to live out his golden years.
