ALF

Alf came to The Horse Trust in 2014 following the closure of the Cleveland Police Mounted Section.

Despite his big size, Alf is a gentle giant who gets on well with other horses. He has the most placid and lovely nature, so loves his human company too! He especially likes to meet and greet our visitors.

During Alf’s time at Cleveland Mounted Section he helped police the 2012 Olympic Games in London and was temporarily based at the Olympic Park. He has also worked at many football matches, including Middlesbrough F.C.
