Neddy Noel 2024: A Heartfelt Thank You!

This year’s Neddy Noel, held on Sunday 1st December 2024, was a truly magical way to bid farewell to our visitors before we close for the winter season. With festive cheer in abundance, it was a day to remember, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, team, stallholders, entertainers, and all our wonderful guests.

Families were delighted to meet Santa in his specially prepared grotto, nestled in a stable beside our much-loved residents, who certainly enjoyed sneaking a few of the reindeer’s carrots! Children also had the chance to join in a festive scavenger hunt, proudly claiming stickers at our buzzing arts and crafts room.

Our dedicated tearoom team ensured no one went hungry, serving specialty hot drinks, delicious cakes, and warming savoury treats in Black Beauty Tea Room and Sefton’s Barn. Meanwhile, our talented stallholders dotted around the site offered unique gifts, from photography packages to handmade crafts, stunning paintings, and of course our very own tack shop.

The atmosphere was made even merrier by the Hemley Hillbillies, who generously donated their time to serenade us with music throughout the afternoon. Thank you for bringing the holiday spirit to life!

The day concluded with our much-loved finale parade, where some of our cherished herd made a special appearance as they were led out to the fields. Horse Trust CEO, Jeanette, shared their incredible stories, from military and police service to remarkable rescue tales, giving guests a deeper connection to the horses they’ve supported. Santa’s departure was equally memorable, carried away by our sparkling tractor, he waved everyone off as they headed home for the holidays.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Neddy Noel such a success. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and time made it a truly special event.
