Meet Trish

If you’re visiting us on a weekend, you might spot a friendly face around the yard – that’s Trish, our wonderful Visitor Engagement Ambassador! With a lifelong passion for horses and many years of carriage driving experience, Trish is thrilled to be back doing what she loves most: spending time with horses and sharing that joy with others.

After some time away from the equine world, Trish filled the animal-shaped hole in her heart by caring for her beloved goats – but now she’s reunited with her other true love: horses. As part of The Horse Trust family, she’s combining over 20 years of customer service experience in opticians with her passion for animals to help create warm, memorable visits for every guest.

Whether you’re after a chat, directions, or a fun activity for the little ones, Trish has you covered – complete with stickers, activity booklets, and plenty of equine knowledge.

And while we kindly ask that visitors don’t feed our herd directly, you can still treat your favourites through our brand-new Treat Box – a safe and thoughtful way to show some love.

We’re so lucky to have Trish on the team – and she’s only just getting started. Be sure to stop by and say hello next time you visit!
