Equine Care Team prepare a care plan for each horse

Over the last few weeks the Equine Care Team have been busy weighing and body condition scoring all of our 140 residents.  The horses have been weighed using both a weighbridge and weightape and also body condition scored.  This helps us to develop an individual winter care plan for every one of our equine residents. Using a weightape and also body condition scoring at home are great ways for horse owners to measure and monitor their own horse weight and condition.  This will help ensure that we are not over/underfeeding throughout the winter.
