Horses, Hounds and Heroes Day NOT being held on 17th June 2018.
It is a very exciting time for The Horse Trust! We have been granted permission to start a major project to extend and improve our facilities here at Speen that will improve life here for the horses as well as for the humans that come here on courses.
Because this will include major works running alongside and next to our outdoor arena, it means pressing pause on this year’s Horses, Hounds and Heroes. This event is key in our calendar and we always strive to make it a truly spectacular day to remember for all our friends and supporters and so please rest assured that whilst we must skip this year’s event, Horses, Hounds and Heroes Day will be back bigger and brighter in 2019.
Apologies for any disappointment caused by our not holding the event this year; it will be well worth it for the horses, and if you could spread the word to any friends and family who were planning on coming to the event, that would be hugely appreciated.
We plan to be open as normal to visitors Thursday to Sunday 2-4pm (plus bank holidays) throughout the summer as the main yard and tea room will be unaffected but please do keep an eye on our website before making the journey just in case something has changed.
Sefton’s Barn bookings will also remain in place and won’t be affected although we will not be taking any newer bookings for 2018 or until the building works are all complete sometime in the new year.
Many thanks for your understanding.
