Rafferty Retired
Rafferty is a 14hh Piebald gelding who retired to us from Cranleigh Riding for the Disabled Association after a wonderful 13 year’s service.
Rafferty has been a huge part of Cranleigh RDA, based in Surrey for many years. His main role was offering lessons to riders with special needs and a range of disabilities. Due to his lovely nature, Rafferty was used for both adults and children. He participated in lessons with riders from beginners to those who are more confident! It was said that Rafferty was a very quick learner, meaning he was particularly good to use with their electric hoist for wheelchair bound riders.
Other than his lessons, Rafferty also loved to get involved with all things fun, like games and hacking! He was quite the competitor too and attended regional RDA dressage days at Hickstead. Rafferty served Cranleigh well and they told us he will be sorely missed by all the riders and all who knew him.
