FRED

Fred arrived at The Horse Trust in May 2017 along with fellow therapy pony, Starling. These two delightful ponies were kept at a care home that catered for people with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. They were used to teach the residents about animal husbandry and grooming. Fred has a lovely gentle nature which made him ideal for the residents to learn with. He loved being fussed over and gave hours of pleasure to many.

Today at The Horse Trust, Fred is a regular on the yard on visiting days and enjoys receiving lots of attention from our visitors, and is a particular favourite of many of our younger supporters!
