This week is Remember a Charity week!

To celebrate, charities across the UK are coming together to raise awareness about the importance gifts in Wills have on their work. Legacy gifts are the life blood of most charities and provide a unique way to protect the future of the causes closest to your heart. Many of our supporters don’t realise that The Horse Trust relies on legacy gifts for over 50% of our income. Ensuring we can continue to provide sanctuary and care for the 130 plus equines on our site is no small task and with economic challenges that lay ahead, they have become even more vital in safeguarding our work.

Each horse in our care, the research we have helped fund and welfare policy work we have pushed forward, is thanks in part to legacy gifts. Every gift, no matter the size, is of huge value and when combined can make a lasting impact.

If you would like to find out more about how you can remember The Horse Trust in your Will or have done so already, we’d love to hear from you! Not only will this help us make plans for the future, it also means we can thank you properly for your support!
