Next week (w/c Monday 21 June) we celebrate Armed Forces Week along with the nation.

Armed Forces Week is a chance to show support to the men and women in the Armed Forces Community including serving personnel, veterans, reservists, cadets and the families and friends of those serving or who have served. Towards the end of the week, on Saturday 26 June, we recognise and appreciate all the work they do on what is the annual Armed Forces Day.

We have incredibly close ties with the Armed Forces and are honoured to provide a restful and happy place of retirement for many of their retired military horses who have served their country. To celebrate our military veterans we will be shining the spotlight on several of them each day next week on our Facebook and Instagram channels.

To see which of our residents will be spotlighted you can follow us on social media where you can learn a little more about some of our military horse heroes. You can also read more about our military residents here.
