In Memory Giving

Remember your loved one by supporting the cause they cherished.

Making a gift in memory of a friend, family member or a beloved horse is a unique and special way to honour the life of a loved one whilst making a difference for horses.

There are a number of ways you can choose to remember a loved one:

Donate In Memory

Asking friends and family to make a donation to The Horse Trust in lieu of flowers is a wonderful way to remember a loved one and to celebrate their life as an animal lover. It can be comforting to know that each donation given in their memory helps us to ensure our herd of horses, ponies and donkeys will always be cared for.

We can provide you with collection envelopes or boxes. Please email info@horsetrust.org.uk if you would like to find out more.

In Memory Tribute Fund

Losing someone special can leave you feeling lost so it’s natural that you would want to remember them and celebrate their life. Sharing happy memories, stories and photos is a lovely way to keep their memory alive, while bringing you some comfort at a difficult time.

We have created a special place where family and friends can continue to commemorate the life of a loved one, while raising funds for a cause they were so passionate in.

You’ll be able to see the total amount raised for The Horse Trust in memory of your loved one and know that their special legacy will make a huge difference to the horses, ponies and donkeys in our care.

Please visit Just Giving and follow their step-by-step guide to setting up a tribute fund. Please select your chosen charity as The Horse Trust when prompted.

Valley View Memorial Walk

The Horse Trust are delighted to announce the official opening of the Valley View Memorial Walk. The walk has beautiful and far reaching views over the rolling Chiltern Hills, when you can take a stroll to remember your loved one whilst gazing out over the horse trust residents grazing in their fields – pure tranquility.

A plaque on our Valley View Walk is a poignant tribute and lasting symbol of remembrance to a loved one or a cherished equine companion. Those people and horses that have touched are lives may be gone from this mortal plane, but never forgotten.

Your loved ones plaque will be nestled amongst those we have had the pleasure of looking after in their twilight years but that we have unfortunately lost at The Horse Trust.

A small brass plaque on the walk is priced at £300.

Please email alice@horsetrust.org.uk for further information.

Sponsor a Horse

You may choose to sponsor one of our retired or rescued horses, ponies or donkeys in memory of a loved one. Sponsorship starts at £30 per year. Please click here for more information.
