WELLINGTON

The handsome Wellington retired to The Horse Trust from the Household Division.

Wellington has had a very impressive career where he served as the Parade Commander’s horse on many state ceremonial occasions such as Trooping the Colour and was also on parade at the Royal Wedding of the Duke and Duchess Cambridge. During the Sovereign’s Parade held at Sandhurst, he was used by the Adjutant to ride up the stairs of the Old College, a long-standing tradition and hugely impressive.

Wellington served for a total of 17 years before retiring to us in 2017.
