SYDNEY

Sydney arrived in April 2018, coming off the lorry full of beans! This handsome horse spent the majority of his life serving at the Royal Mews as a ceremonial carriage horse and took part in many grand events. His everyday London life was mainly driving and more specifically the daily messenger carriage which delivered post between the Palaces. When in harness his calm temperament made him a perfect training horse but when he gets grass underfoot he acts like a 5-year-old!

Sydney is an incredibly popular resident with both the public and The Horse Trust team and loves nothing more than hanging out with his best friend, El-Alamein (fondly known as Chicken). Sydney and Chicken are quite the pair and incredibly sweet together!
